Join us as we embark on a 1400 nm mile voyage from The Azores in the middle of the Atlantic to Portsmouth in the UK. Spend some time exploring the Azores before Discovering the highs and lows of navigating an ocean passage as we head towards the UK and across the Bay of Biscay. This is a great Ocean passage whatever your sailing level is and will qualify as your Yachtmaster Ocean Qualifying Passage.
For in-the-know travellers, the Azores have long represented a beckoning blip on the radar of possible destinations. But most people still know little, if anything, about this far-flung archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic. And yet it is hard to imagine a place better suited to nature lovers, fans of adventure Sailing, or anyone looking to get away from it all.
Birthplace of Charles Dickens and home to other literary greats such as Arthur Conan Doyle and Rudyard Kipling, the city of Portsmouth is ideally located on the south coast. Steeped in naval and maritime history, Portsmouth has great nightlife, miles of waterfront packed with great places to eat and drink, a unique shopping experience, museums, art galleries and the iconic Emirates Spinnaker Tower at Gunwharf Quays.
We take your safety and that of the vessel extremely seriously and as such we reserve the right to alter or amend itineraries in the case of bad weather, tide or Foreign Office/Maritime Agencies advice.
